Busy Summer!

Goodness! It's been so long since I've updated you on everything that's been going on here at the library.First, we had a summer children's program on July 8 to celebrate the World Cup in South Africa. The kids made South African flags and played "Blow Football," a table game popular in the United Kingdom.

On July 15, we had a Lego program. The kids were given a big box of Legos which they could use to build anything they wanted. Here are some of the results:

Finally, we had a Ghoulish Ghosts program on July 20 for the summer reading program. The kids turned their handprints into scary ghosts that hang in the library, and they decorated ghost magnets to take home and put on the refrigerator.

There are still a few weeks left of summer, and we've still got some great programs for kids and teens (And adults!)! Check out this post for more information!
